Another golfing great, this is the co-founder of the Masters, Bobby Jones. He built the course and invited a field to play the first tournament in 1934. It was won by Horton Smith (-4) who won it again in 1936 (-3) to become the first multiple winner of the event. Bobby Jones, himself, never won The Masters, as he retired from competitive professional golf in 1930; although he played in the Masters every year up til 1948. He did win a Grand Slam of golf - the US Open, The Open, The US Amateur Title and the British Amateur Title of 1930.
