The clock tower again in all its Victorian Gothic glory. It has a tidal-gauge mechanism on the bottom floor, which was used to check tide levels.A decorative mirror room occupies the second floor so that the Port Captain had a full view of all harbour activities. The clock mechanism is on the top floor and was restored in 1997 so the original clock is still in use today.

Bo Kaap is known for its brightly coloured houses and is situated at the foot of Signal Hill. It is the spiritual home of the Cape's Muslim community and was originally known as the Malay Quarter.
This is an interesting one, as the stairs up to the front door are missing.
