Monopoly

Doing a bit of research has led me to a list of the playing pieces. Apparently the nine originals are:
Top Hat
Racing Car
Shoe ( or old boot as we knew it)
Thimble
Iron
Cannon
Battleship
Scotty Dog
Wheelbarrow.
I'm sure there are many different ones depending on which
edition you are looking at, but there you go. I suppose each one of these will have to be found and photographed!

Monopoly Day 1

Apparently N is a great fan of Monopoly, so we joined M and N on their first day in the quest to visit all the places on the Monopoly board. Our task was Park Lane, Mayfair and Piccadilly and my efforts are seen below.

Butterflies are back

The butterflies are back in the Glasshouse at RHS Garden Wisley. They will be there until 28th February, so if you can get down there it is a wonderful experience to walk around in the warmth if the tropical area of the Glasshouse with these wonderful creatures flying around so close to you. If you plan on taking photos, leave an extra ten minutes or so for your camera to 'demist' before trying your hand at capturing the odd image or two.
