She sits, guarding her kill.

Some distance away the rest of the group lazed by the stream. They can't approach until the one who made the kill summons them.

The lioness suddenly appeared, grabbed a zebra and killed it, dragging it behind the kopje.

These are the two friends who were calling to the other lioness.

This lioness is part of an ambush. We saw several of the pride hiding in the undergrowth by the track the antelope take.

The male lion suddenly got fed up and started roaring at us.

This mum just had her babies in the drain. If they can't get out they will drown as the water is rising with the rain. Dad doesn't seem too worried!
